Image Galleries Around the Interweb
Ever since I began designing my first web site, the question of how to construct an effective image gallery has been of great interest to me. I've studied quite a few different styles of image galleries around the interweb over the years and it recently occurred to me that other people might like to see a selection of these galleries. So I've dug through my bookmarks, found some new additions, and complied this list. It may seem like a strange thing to list, but I'm a strange guy. I figure that other web designers who happen to stumble onto this list might benefit from looking through how these galleries function. Anyone else can just enjoy the pretty pictures.
I've broken the list up into two different sections: galleries that are constructed in interesting ways and galleries that are set up rather traditionally but just contain amazing images. I hope you enjoy. (Of course, many of the galleries in the first section also contain amazing images!) Feel free to email me with your comments or links to your favourite galleries. If I like them, I'll add them.
